Trish Moulton

Owner and Instructor

Trish Moulton has been educating dancers for over 20 years. As owner of Dance Studio of Maine she thrives on seeing all dancers succeed. Trish has choreographed and directed many award winning routines. Trish is certified International Dance Teaching Standards. She has coached for the Sea Dogs Dance team & Lady Red Claws. Along with having many great connection and friendships within the greater dance community. Her training still continues with classes and seminars. “I believe that the student can be the teacher”.

Nikki Girroir

Director and Instructor

Nikki Girroir graduated from The University of the Arts where she earned her B.F.A in Modern Dance Performance. She has performed professionally with Luminarium Dance Company, Echo Dance Company and Intimations Dance Company; and was selected as a guest choreographer with Intimations Dance. Growing up Nikki traveled to Germany to compete in the Tap World Championships where her and her team brought home the Gold. Nikki is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor and enjoys teaching many other genres of dance. Nikki is also certified in Pilates, Pilates reformer and Barre fitness. She believes that dance is a great vehicle to bring people together and that it teaches important values. Nikki loves directing and teaching at DSOM South and loves being a part of the Sanford community!

 

Baylee Call

Instructor

Baylee Call has been dancing since the age of 4, always having a strong passion for hip hop and contemporary! She has been at Dance Studio of Maine in Gorham since 7th grade and has grown to love choreographing over the past couple of years. Baylee has made some amazing lifelong friends, and has competed with many hardworking individuals in the DSOM Company. She is excited to see what this year brings and is beyond honored to work with such talented dancers!


 
 

Sammie Girroir

Instructor

Sammie Girroir has been dancing for 22 years training in many styles, such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern and contemporary. She obtained her dance education degree from Northern Essex Community College.  She has her B. F. A. In English literature and her M. F. A. In Special education. She has taught at local studios in her area for more than 5 years. She had the honor of performing at Radio City Music Hall as the opening number to the Rockettes. Growing up, she has competed at dance competitions on the east coast for over 10 years. She was on her college dance team, learning various styles of hip hop. Fun and positivity is what Sammie believes dance is about and cannot wait to share her love of dancing with her students!

 

 

Brittany Sawyer

Instructor and Costume Manager

Brittany started dancing at the age of four and has taken classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and Pointe. She has recently graduated from Southern Maine Community College with a degree in Respiratory Therapy. Brittany discovered her passion for teaching dance when she became a teachers assistant. She has been teaching for five years and has been a part of the Dance Studio of Maine South family for three years. Brittany strives to provide a safe, inviting, and fun environment for all students.

Felicia Pitcher

Instructor

Felicia Pitcher has been dancing since the age of 5 and continued through her senior year when she graduated in 2019. During her 14 years dancing, she trained with Miss Nikki as her mentor for about 6 years and under her guidance taught ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, and acro. Two highlights of Felicia's high school dance career were scoring 2nd overall teen solo with Miss Nikki's choreography and earning the title of Victory Cup National Champion with her team at the 2018 Starpower nationals. Finally, she traveled around New England attending Pulse Dance convention, Jump, and Rebel Dance Convention, taking classes with Travis Wall, Brian Freeman, Tyce Diorio, Mia Michaels, Misha Gabriel, Kenny Wormald, and many other big names in the business.Currently, Felicia is studying Event Planning with a minor in Hospitality at the University of New Hampshire. Although she took a short break, Felicia can't wait to begin her new dance journey as a teacher with the DSOM South team!
