Information for Parents



Tuition is due the first class of the month. Clients will not be invoiced each month unless payment is late.  Any tuition paid after the 15th will encure a $15.00 late fee.

DSOM South now allows you to access your own account live 24 hours a day.  Payments can be made when you log into your account at any time. Tuition is due on the 1st class of the month.

Fall 2019/2020 Session Pricing

Registration fee for 1 student is $15.00 or $25.00 for family in same household.

30min to 1 hour class each week= $42.00 per month

1.5 hours of class per week= $60.00 per month

2 hours of class per week= $74.00 per month

3 hours of class per week= $106.00 per month

Summer 2019 Pricing

No registration fee required. 45 minute camps are 12.00 per class and 1hour camps are 14.00. Register for more than 5 camps and receive a 10% discount.


All dance shoes are to be purchased through the Dance Studio. We offer high quality shoes at a less expensive price than some of the big box stores. All shoes are fit to give your dancer a year’s worth of growth. Classes will be fitted for shoes on the first few weeks of class. We will still be honoring the shoes purchased last season through Diane.

Creative Movement – Any color leotard and tights are acceptable.

White ballet shoes without ties. Hair should be pulled back off of the neck and face.

Ballet – Any color leotard and pink tights.

Level 1/2 full sole ballet pink, ballet 3/4 split sole ballet pink. Hair should be in a ballet bun. Please see your instructor for easy tips on how to get your dancers hair in a ballet bun.

Jazz/Contemporary/Lyrical – Any color leotard and tights are acceptable.  Shorts may be worn but should be fitted.

Jazz classes will wear tan split sole jazz shoes. Contemporary and lyrical will be barefoot.  Hair must be pulled back off of the neck and face.

Tumbling-Any color leotard and shorts.  

Barefoot with footless tight is required.

Tap – Any color leotard and tights are acceptable. Shorts may be worn but should be fitted. Level 1/2 tan tap shoes, level 3/4 black tie tap shoes. Hair must be pulled back off neck and face.

Hip Hop – Students are permitted to wear loose clothing with the exception of jeans or school clothes. Sweat pants or baggy shorts are great and a loose fitting t-shirt or tank.

Black sneakers. Please do not wear street shoes to class. Carry your sneakers in with you to keep our floors clean and free of dirt.

Adult Students – We do not have a dress code for adult students. Wear what is comfortable and lets your body breath and move.


We will be closed on the following days this 2019-2020 season:

-October 31 Halloween

-November 28-30, 2019 Thanksgiving Break

-December 23 – January 1, 2020 Holiday Break

-February 17-22, 2020 Winter Break

-April 20-25, 2020 Spring Break

-May 25, 2020 Memorial Day

We do not close for Monday holidays with the exception of Memorial Day.

All snow closures are posted on DSOM voicemail and also on channel 6, 8 and 13. Make up classes for snow days will be made up if more than 3 snow days occur on the same day of the week.


Costume and Tight Payments

All recital costume and tight payments are due no later than December 1, 2019. All late payments will incur a $5.00 per week late fee. We appreciate your on time payment to ensure all of the classes’ costumes will be ordered on time. If you wish, we do accept monthly payments towards your costume starting in September. Costumes and tights are non-refundable.
