Health & Safety at DSOM South

SAFETY PROTOCOLS - Updated 9/12/2022

At the Dance Studio of Maine South, we want to make sure each and every student and staff member are healthy. Take a look at how we’re handling COVID 19 and some guidelines on what to look out for.

Masking is optional at this time. Please do not send your dancer to DSOM South if they answer yes to any of the following questions. If they need to stay home please contact us via email at dsomcheckin@gmail.com to discuss the policy for them to return. These questions may be updated at any time. You will receive an email when updates occur.

CDC Questions - You may not enter DSOM South if you answer YES to any of the questions.

--Does anyone in your household have a cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, congestion/runny nose, or a headache?

-Is the dancer considered a close contact?

-Is anyone in your household Covid positive within the last 10 days?

Additional Information:

  • All dancers from the same household must stay home if you have a child staying home sick

  • If your dancer or someone in your household is receiving a COVID test, all dancers in the house must stay home until test results are available.

  • If you are considered a close contact please email dsomcheckin@gmail.com

  • If you are going to be out of dance for any reason we ask that you complete this form Missing Class Form

  • Do not contact your instructor through personal contact information or social media for absence. All contact must be made through studio email dsomcheckin@gmail.com

  • All students need to have approval from studio staff before returning to the class.
